INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Town of Ridgeway is accepting Sealed Bids for repairs to the Teacherage Building at 225 E. Church Street as provided in the Project Description. Bids are subject to all conditions, and provisions, etc., set forth herein and attached. Bids will be received at Town Hall located at 170 S. Dogwood Ave, Ridgeway, SC no later than 9:00 AM, November 3, 2017. Bids will be publicly opened and read by staff at that time.
The contract price must include all costs of transportation to the required destination and any applicable sales tax.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
The Bid shall be in a sealed envelope labeled "Teacherage Building" Bids not signed will automatically be rejected. It is requested that completed bids be either typewritten or handwritten in black ink only. Facsimiles are not acceptable..

Requirements:
1. The Contractor shall coordinate with all utility owners to be aware of utilities located within the project area. Prior to construction.
2. The Contractor shall maintain on file at the job site, copies of all permits and approvals for the project.
3. The Contractor shall secure all other permits required for construction activities prior to beginning construction. This includes, but is not limited to, a SC Encroachment Permit for any work conducted within a SCDOT right-of-way.
4. Contract shall obtain a Town of Ridgeway Business License prior to beginning work.
