Join Sandy Vassallo on the First Friday Night, October 2, from 4:00pm - 7:30pm at "The Gallery" Fairfield County Art Council location at Over the Top Boutique for her latest novel "Once In A Blue Moon" . This is Sandy's fifth novel and it is a story of love and friendship. Sandy is a author of the Rosewood Book Club and Lavender and Earl Gray Tea Room which features Laura's Tea Room. The main character, Maddy Hudson, a widow and 42 year resident of South Carolina, gets the news that 95 year old Katherine Tweed has passed away.
Maddy, who adored Katherine "Katie' for most of her life returns to her hometown of Madison Ohio with her long time friend Lena to pay her respects to Katie whom she met in the summer of 1958 while out playing with her best friend, a rough and tumble kid named Billy Murphy. They discover all the rumors that had circulated the neighborhood regarding "Old Lady Tweed" were anything but true and would come to know the illusive recluse. It is a touching story of friendship.
