Code Red System, Smart911

It is essential to share timely and, most importantly, accurate information during this time regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. Attached are two free tools available to the public. The Code Red System and Smart911 (see attachments) are great tools that can be utilized to provide timely information when needed.
Code Red is a community notification alert system provided by Fairfield County. If you have not already done so, please register to create an account so that you will be notified by your local E-911 center as to emergency situations or critical community alerts. This system will alert cell phones and/or residential phones.

Smart911 is an app that will provide important information about you to First Responders. There is the option to add as much information as you would like, such as medical history, home information, pets, vehicles, and emergency contacts. You decide how much information you would like to provide. Much like the Code Red System, it also serves as a platform to keep you informed of emergency situations or critical community alerts.
