A Tribute to Inetta Simpson

A Tribute to Inetta Simpson Inetta Simpson will be retiring soon from the Ridgeway Post Office after 30 years of service. We will miss this community member and the assistance she always provided with a smile. She knew every resident of Ridgeway and their address and would lend an appropriate helping hand in making sure our letters were delivered to the proper address. With Inetta at the Post Office you knew that someone always knew your name. In my recent conversation with Inetta, she described her retirement as follows.

“I began my career with the US Postal Service in 1983. After 30 years of service, I’ve decided to retire and give someone else the chance to know and love the citizens of The Ridgeway Community as I have. It has certainly been a joy working at the Post Office. Every day was a memorable one because it was such a pleasure to help someone each day.

“If I can help someone as I pass along, then my living will not be in vain.” I thank God for the opportunity to serve the citizens of the Ridgeway Community and surrounding areas and to make a difference in someone’s life”.

Inetta, rest assured that you have made a difference in the lives of the citizens in Ridgeway and this mayor.
