The Town of Ridgeway announces a general
election to be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, for
the purpose of electing two (2) council members
and one (1) mayor for a period of four (4) years.
The election will be held at the new Ridgeway
Fire Department, 350 S. Palmer St. Ridgeway, SC
29130. People desiring to vote in the upcoming
election must be registered by March 5, 2022, at
the Fairfield County Board of Voter Registration.
Citizens desiring to be candidates for one of the
above listed offices may file at the Ridgeway
Town Hall /Century House, 170 South Dogwood
Drive. Books will be open for filing at 8:30 am on
Monday, January 24, 2022, and close at noon on
Friday, February 4, 2022. The filing fee for the
office of council is $15.00 and mayor is $25.00.
This is a nonpartisan election and no party
affiliation shall be placed on the ballot.
